May this day bring Joy and Light with harm to none and goodwill to all

Ceremony at the Shingletown Sanctuary!

Celebrating the Longest Day of the Year

Everyone is invited!

We will open at 9 am for those who would enjoy the day at the Shingletown Sanctuary.

We will be making Straw Man to put our ickies into throughout the day from grasses gathered on Sanctuary Land.

At sunset we will burn them with ceremony in the Tipi Lodge, and let what no longer serves us ... burn away. It is supposed to be chilly today, so the Solstice Fires will be yummy :)

For those who will be elsewhere on this wonderful day ...

May the East bring new beginnings and perceptions.

May the South remove all blocks and and clear the weed out.

May the West waters wash you clean and nurture your heart!

May the north bring abundant life and health.

With harm to no one and blessing to everyone!

May your Summer Solstice be BLESSED!

Be Blessed & Blessed Be

Early Lessons From Grandma: The Night Before a Special Day by Debi LeFaye offers a heartwarming glimpse into the wisdom passed down from one generation to the next. Drawing from her cherished childhood memories, LeFaye shares the lessons her grandmother taught her in preparation for a special day. The book recounts how LeFaye’s grandmother used meaningful symbols—like a star and pearls—to inspire growth, resilience, and positivity. For instance, the star symbolizes the light and strength within us, while pearls, compared to life’s "irritants," serve as a metaphor for transforming challenges into beauty. Her grandmother also introduced her to the concept of a “blessed bath,” teaching the importance of cleansing not just the body but also the mind and spirit. Debi LeFaye crafted an endearing and deeply moving tribute to the enduring power of love, care, and mentorship. LeFaye’s ability to weave her grandmother’s teachings into a beautiful narrative reminds readers of the immense impact a caregiver can have on shaping a child’s character. The story resonates on multiple levels, emphasizing the importance of nurturing children and guiding them toward kindness and success. The grandmother’s dedication to helping her granddaughter grow into a better person each day is both inspiring and humbling. LeFaye’s intention to honor her grandmother by sharing these lessons with her grandchildren and young readers shines through on every page. If you are searching for inspiration on how to empower and uplift future generations, you will benefit from reading Early Lessons from Grandma: The Night Before a Special Day.

Brighten your day with this heartwarming short story about a loving grandmother and her adorable grandchild. Early Lessons From Grandma: Mirror Magic by Debi LeFaye is a children's picture book that follows young Debi as she receives some valuable life lessons from her grandmother. After Debi brings Grandma the mirror she requested, Grandma begins to teach her about the magic of mirrors, showing how they can make us feel good about ourselves and boost our self-belief and confidence. Grandma tells Debi to look at her reflection in the mirror and give her blessings. She also encourages Debi to send love, joy, and kisses to the mirror, revealing that all the good stuff that Debi sends her mirror comes back toward herself. Debi feels empowered after discovering the magic of her reflections. Early Lessons From Grandma: Mirror Magic is an engaging picture book that shows the power of affirmations and how they can help instill happiness and self-belief in a person. Complemented by lively illustrations, Debi LeFaye's captivating storytelling makes this book an absolute joy to read. This delightful picture book also demonstrates the value of kindness, showing how our deeds reflect upon us and make us who we are. The relationship between Grandma and Debi is at the center of the story. It's sweet and wholesome and may remind young readers of their relationships with their grandparents. Children will have fun with this book. I had a broad smile on my face while reading it. If you're a parent or a grandparent, grab a copy today and introduce your child to the magic of mirrors!

I am so honored!

The Shingletown Sanctuary now has 2 distillers! We are making all kinds of flower water!

We have also been growing gourds and making sacred rattle that are truly amazing!!!

My readings are no longer timed! I want to go as long as needed for the best reading without looking at a clock :) So .... readings will go as long as they should and will be at a flat rate of $250. I am always open to barter, work trades and payments. It's all about the energy exchange.

Almost time to milk the goats!

Be Blessed & Blessed Be,
