Blessings Everyone,

As political heat and turmoil grow, the need for kindness grows as well.

We are ALL Americans. (unless you are from another country :)

When you sit in a circle and place an object in its center, it will appear differently to each individual depending on where they sit in the circle. How they feel about the object in the center of the circle will also be a factor, what their life holds will reflect,

in how the object appears.

No two people will see the object the same.

It would be folly to fight over who sees the truth of what is in the center of the circle, as no one is fully right or wrong they just have a different perspective. And in order to fully understand the object all views are needed. Which is GOOD! A democracy relies on many view points. All should be heard and shared with KINDNESS. Not with name calling or belittling or thinking ill of 'the other side'.

It is wonderful that we can peacefully protest and share different views. It is a sacred right. However, when there is violence and hurtful words it is not a sharing of 'what you see', but rather poor limited behavior and not a true sharing of 'what you see' from where you sit in the circle.

It is also our right and responsibility to communicate to our representatives what we see from where we sit in the circle. It is their job to represent us. How can they do that if they don't hear from the people? This does not mean sending out unkind words or any nastiness. This means communicating and sharing from your perspective.

There are also many ways to share your views online, letters to the editor etc. Again these should reflect your perspective without insults.

It is a beautiful and amazing thing to live in a country where freedom to worship, to love, to work and play are respected. These things are important. We may each see these in different ways, but they bring joy into our lives and allow us each to follow our sacred path.

It is up to each individual to make there own choices on what they believe is best, and respect that not everyone is going to agree with you, and that it is okay. It is what democracy should be.

Personally, I plan on attending peaceful protests on the things I am concerned about and have written to my representatives, and will continue to do so as concerns arise, fully respecting others may not see it the same way I do. Everyone should have a voice in America. Please let our many different voices carry with kindness.

I share with this poem I wrote many moons ago ...

Walk In Peace

May you walk in peace through scrambling and loudness,

Remembering the inner peace stillness brings.

Without compromising your highest self

Be in harmony with life around you.

Let your wisdom be spoken calmly, without obscurity. Hear everyone out.

The slow and uneducated have many sacred truths to share.

Shun clamorous and strife filled energies in others;

This energy is irritating to the heart.

When you size yourself up against others It's easy to become conceited and harsh,

There's always going to be someone with more or less than you.

Appreciate your accomplishments and look forward to your dreams.

Be inspired on your sacred path, however simple or full;

It truly is an anchor in the changing courses a lifetime will bring.

Use care in the realms of finance, for this world is filled with greed.

But don't let the excellence there is be hidden from you.

Many folks set high standards and heroes are found everywhere!

Be who you are.

Don't pretend you like someone or something if you don't, At the same time don't be contemptuous or bitter about love;

This life is filled with disappointments, losses and grief,

Let love come in, and again, and again it will.

After the long winter, spring revives and renews again.

Enjoy aging with a kind and gentle heart,

Elegantly letting go of that which no longer serves you.

While celebrating the knowledge and skills

You've gained through the years.

Learn to build power of self to protect you during life's lows.

No longer upsetting your self with worst-case scenarios.

A lot of anxiety comes from burnout and alienation.

Live a healthy lifestyle and be considerate of yourself!

We all are a part of the Divine!

As sacred as earth and the Magic in the night skies.

We have reason for this lifetime. Even when we don't comprehend this,

Life is opening to us like a beautiful flower.

Walk with the divine, whatever your concept.

With all the work and hopes in the craziness of life;

Be kind to yourself.

With all its hurt, toil and lost aspirations, It is a sacred and amazing journey!

Be optimistic.

Choose to be Blessed!

May we truly walk in Peace, being our very best and highest selves.
